Magical Veggie Challenge

Frequently Asked Questions

Must I include any of the original lyrics in my chant?
Yes. You must begin your chant with "Beans, beans" but that's the only original lyric you need to include. Here is an example to get your creative juices flowing:

"Beans, beans have protein to spare
Call them a fruit? I won't even dare
They're a veggie that makes you grow up big and strong
And with beans on the table, your meal can't go wrong"

Does my chant need to follow the same rhythm or tempo as the original?
No. Get creative! Create a cool rap, sweet bean ballad or silly folk melody.

Remember that any element in your submission, including without limitation music, audio, speech/voiceovers, stills, video, supers, or other audiovisual materials used must be 1) entirely original, created and performed by you, and/or 2) be in the public domain (not copyrighted or licensed).

Also, submissions should not exceed 60 seconds in length and need to convey that beans are a vegetable.
